The Kitehouse is proud to announce Into the Air: A Kiteboarding Experience. It is the first hybrid extreme sports/documentary film on the exploding visual sport of Kiteboarding. Into the Air opens the doors of this sport to the viewer by showing Kiteboarding, (the newest extreme sport), up close and highlighting the Athletes and personalities propelling it forward.
Cineforce Films cinematically captured 12 influential riders invited to spend twelve days in the small coastal town of La Parguera and ride on remote islands. The stunning imagery takes you into the personalities that drive these pro athletes to excel at the highest level and gives them the drive to live their dreams. Blessed with 12 solid days of strong trade winds the film crew could barely keep up with the endless stamina of the riders.
Into the Air: A Kiteboarding Experience is the first kiteboarding film of its kind shot on 35mm, 16mm, and the latest digital video camcorders. It features a unique blend of extreme action, personal interviews and stunning visuals.
This film is for everyone from the top rider to someone just learning about the sport.
Into The Air: A Kiteboarding Experience was shot entirely on location in Puerto Rico with Paul Menta, Kevin “Tophat” Senn, Renee Hanks, Bri Chmel, Andy Hurdman, Sam Bell, Jason Slezak, Laurel Eastman, Cameron Dietrich, Damien LeRoy, Julie Simsar and Antoine Jaubert.
